I I like the color and the aesthetics of the wheels, but I wouldn’t want to drive on something that low with such narrow side walls on a regular basis.

I like the look of the wheels. I like black wheels. I do not like the way those black wheels look on that car.

I don’t like black wheels on dark cars. I don’t like black wheels on light colored cars also.

Careful what you say everyone. I have thin sidewalls and black rims....

Objection: This car would look wrong with anything other than black wheels.

These aren’t that low body wise
. I have curbed my rims already however... It’s my first car with low profile tires so sue me.

I do not see that working well at all on a bright yellow car.

I get what you’re saying, my GTI has thin sidewalls on 18 inch wheels. I’m hoping to have enough money to buy some 17 inch wheels and tires when it’s time for new tires, just because I want some more sidewall.

Not a fan of these rims but I think the colors work

I didn’t say they were bad. I said I like them but I wouldn’t want to drive in them a lot.

Well at least your non-discriminatory.

That could work.

Okay. Out of curiosity, what in particular doesn’t work for you?

It’s just a comfort thing for me.

It kinda works there but the Subaru is a MUCH brighter yellow than the yellowish orange on the Scion in your photo.

I’m afraid I’d end up scraping a bunch in daily driving if it were me. Also, I’d curb the rims a bunch and hate myself.

It looks nice. Once upon an old Focus . I had to take off 17” wheels and go with 13” wheels to quit breaking wheels on pot holes. I had to take what was in stock at the moment. The new wheels were not pretty. The real van ladder rack and snow tires installed made up for the ugly wheels. 03 manual 2 door. Rip. It was a work truck.

13" is nice and cushy for sure. I’d imagine it would be hard these days to get ones that size that look sharp, but who knows?

That looks great, but a super bright, reflective silver would also work

Probably stay away from modern cars in general then, huge wheels+no sidewall seems to be the trend these days. Comfy ride and cheap to replace tires be damned!

Possibly but my Dad and I are both of the conclusion that it needs black wheels and as such that car will only ever wear black wheels.

Fortunately there still seems to be some sidewalk left in my particular market.

Pittsburgh is deep in the Appalachians, I really don’t scrape at all, even with our pot
holes. I’ll be curious to see if the rims remain an issue now that I am used to it.

I hope not. Good luck!
